Is there a way to use a client option set to specify the include/exclude
options for a UNIX client?  I have tried different combinations of
inclexcl options in the dsm.sys file (including none), dsm.opt file and
the client option set.  In all cases, the inclexcl values from the
client options set were ignored.

Is what I am trying to do even possible, or is the fact that UNIX
clients cannot specify the include / exclude in the dsm.opt file
preclude me from doing this?
