Hello ADSM'ers,

I am hoping that someone has found a workaround for backing up

character special files,
block special files, and
FIFO special files (named piped files)

on Solaris V2.5.1 clients. The documentation states that these files are
not backed up, however they are critical for disaster recovery on
Solaris systems running SAP and/or Oracle where "jumpstart" servers are
used.

The ADSM Server is running on NT at version 2.1.

Any assistance would be appreciated...
