If, in fact, you are having two problems (i.e., no subdirectory
backups and no D: backup)
then
 -SUBDIR=yes option solves the first
and
 you should check out your options file on the client node for a
DOMAIN statement which is restricting you to processing the C: drive
only.  As I read the manual, the default for the DOMAIN is all local
drives and that should be overridden by a command line specification
anyway but....
