Just format the 2 new volumes, use the appropriate ANRFMT job to define the
new VSAM data sets, and then use the ADD DB VOL function.  No need to touch
the old ones - this is done dynamically, without interruption to ADSM.

I have question about my DB volumes again..


I need to add space to the  DB volumes. It is now 2 - 800mg volumes and it is
80% full. I have 2 more 800mg volumes to be added.. Now the real question is.

Do I just add the volume to the DBVOL area or do I need to move the existing DB
to a larger area..

My server is a MVS system..

Any help would be great..
