Starting multiple processes is easy for migration and copy storage
pools.

For migration, in the definition for your disk storage pool, one of the
properties is MIGPRocess (if you define by command line), or Migration
Processes (if you are using the GUI).

To see how yours is set, issue the command : q stgpool diskpoolname F=D
Or in the GUI, highlight your disk storage pool, select File, Open as
Properties from the menu.

If you set it MIGPRocess to 3, then whenever disk-to-tape migration
starts, 3 processes automatically crank up at the same time.

Same thing works for creating STGPOOL copies.
When you issue the backup stgpool command, specify the number of
processes you want, e.g:

        backup stgpool primpoolname copypoolname maxprocess=3

As far as I can tell, in the V2 server you can only start 1 process for
expiration. Don't know about V3.

Someone was asking about how to run more than one process or
thread in a backup.
I was wondering if there is any way to multi-thread other parts,
such as
multiple migration processes or maybe copy and expiration
processes.
