Andy,
Thanks for your prompt reply. Apparently the Novell people had also
recently updated
TCP/IP levels, and upon debugging our problem discovered that the level
added stated 'for
3.1.2 and above'. They removed the new code for TCP/IP, and the backup ran
as scheduled
last night. We're keeping our fingers crossed.
