Mark,
Storage Pool reclaimation is set via the UPDATE STGPOOL command, as;
     "upd stg 3590tape rec=10"
Where I've set reclaimation to 10% for my 3590 tape drive pool

This would certainly explain a few things for me, but am I confusing
reclamation threshhold?? Where can I set/change this value? I am probably
looking right at it, and don't even know it.
