Hi,
Please take a look at the enclosed file and gimme a clue??
Here's the situation. I have a BOXHILL "Lightbox" 8mm tape library (holds
10 tapes plus a cleaning tape). Attached to the lightbox are 2 compaq DLT
machines. ADSM Server is running on NT 3.51 w/sp5. ADSM sees everything.
There's a STANDARD Policy Set in the STANDARD Domain. The STANDARD
Management class points to the lightbox. I created two other mgmt classes
"GMO" and "CCR" to point to the DLT machines. The clients all originally
pointed to the STANDARD mgmt class. Now I want to have various clients
point to various Mgmt Classes. I have the client OPT file set up properly
(I THINK). but I still can't seem to see the DLT machines from any client
(meaning, the data is continuing to go to the lightbox). I'd appreciate
ANYONE shedding some light.
