That's the only way I know of, currently.
However, if I understand the announcement correctly, Version 3 allows the
establishment of a "master exclude list" that should make things like this
easier.

Hello, all.
Thanks to those who answered my previous question.
I would like to expire files from backup based on file type to remove
executable or DLL files or to delete files based on file name. The real
reason for this is to prevent the storage of several hundred copies of
windows NT and 3.1 standard exes and standard DLLS.
I do know that we could place an exlude list for these on the client.
Does anyone know another way?
