We went from 8mm to a 3570 B02 and the difference is like night and
day. The perfromance of the 3570 is far superior to 8mm. The only
other alternative I would consider would be some type of DLT
technology. I don't know if that is what the Eliant 820 is. And I
don't have any DLT drives so I can't comment on them. But, if your
trying to decide betweem 8mm & 3570, go with the 3570, you won't be
disappointed.
