We've been trying to use backint with ADSM running on MVS, and haven't
had any luck.  The messages we get indicate there is a problem with the
server (MVS), but normal backups from the AIX node run fine.  We have
defined a different node name for Backint in addition to the node set up
for the AIX base system.  Is this needed?  The activity log indicates
that the AIX system is communicating with the host when we try to
establish communications.  There are also a couple of parms (i.e.
Maxsessions) that say they should be set to the number of tape drivers
on the host.  We have this set to 2, but on occasion we get a message no
sessions available, even though nothing else is running at this time.
Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.  Rick
