We are currently running Arcserve and ADSM at the same time on our NetWare 4.? 
servers.

The reason for doing this is that we experienced problems during restore of 
complete filesystems containing
up to 1 Mill. files. When restoring from ADSM, it's up to the client to hold 
track of which files to restore, and
our Netware servers did not manage to hold that much information.  Due to this 
problem we are using ADSM as our
day-to-day backup-solution, and Arcserve as a disaster recovery solution.

As I understand (I am managing the ADSM server and the UNIX clients) we have 
not experienced any problems doing this.
