Is the backtime growing due to increasing ammounts of data being backed
up?
We had an NT server whose backup time would increase from about 30
minutes to several hours without a significant change in the number of
files or ammount of data. Rebooting the server would bring things back
to normal for a week or two, then times would increase again. Turns out
we had a memory leak, degrading performance with time.
