We are not able to connect the ADIC Scalar 218 to air AIX 2.1.6.13 Server.
It reports to smitty during device configuration that it is a device module
3 but all IBM documentation say it supported as Module 2. When we enable
support for 3 the configuration fails saying that it is unsupported. During
configuration the 218 is send out the name 448. We have contacted ADIC and
they advise us that all there Scalar drive report to AIX the name 448. Need
help!! Has anyone used this model Scalar 218 with ADSM running on an IBM
P50? How did you get it to work????
