Shelby,   We at Ashland are also looking at billing for ADSM services and
also use the MVS ADSM server.
My research tells me that the going rate is 22 cents per megabyte
transferred for backups.
I would be interested as well in any other possible billing solutions.

We are about to implement billing of our clients for ADSM service. I would
be interested in finding out whether or not anyone is doing this and what
rates you happen to be using. Currently we are leaning towards billing for
the actual backup or restore plus some charge for the storage occupied by
the clients on a per-day basis (same as our mainframe DASD). Our ADSM
server runs on MVS. Any comments would be appreciated.
