ADSM uses a combination of things to determine if the file requires backup -
these include the size of the file and the date and time stamp of when the
file is last modified.

Since ADSM would not know that Legato had been run, I would assume that if
Legato thought a file should be backed up, then ADSM would make the same
decision and back it up too.

I know that NetWare uses it's own file system which I am not really familiar
with - I know that in a FAT format, ADSM does NOT use the Archive bit to
determine a changed file - if the same bit exists in NetWare, I would assume
ADSM wouldn't use it, either.

How does ADSM decide a Netware file is eligible for backup ?

When we run a Legato networker backup, for some reason ADSM
backs up all files again as if they were new or modified.

Any ideas ?
