Hello,

I did a first time database restore on Lotus Notes Agent recently. The
database was deleted so when I go
to restore it to the original name it says I cannot do it. (see "Using the
Lotus Notes Backup Agent")

There is a restore -topath option and a -merge option. The -topath gave me the
above error, the -merge would not work because the userid.nsf file has to be
there.

Anyway I restored it to a ficticious userid.nsf file, renamed it to the
original userid.nsf and it worked.

No, problem for me...sounds so simple. The Information Specialist requesting
the restore would like to know why it does not restore to the original
userid.nsf if it is not there???
