Hi Andy, we are planning similar VLDB measurements with the new DB2 UDB:
Universal Database Server, which is the follow-on product for DB2/6000 and
DB2PE.  Tests are underway so hopefully we'll be able to publish before
the summer is over!  But in general, there is no reason to believe that
the DB2 numbers wouldn't be at least as good as the Oracle numbers.
