Hello,

has anybody had BAD experience with ADSM AIX client 2.1.0.6 using HSM?

After running HSM for 6 months on a filesystem (with 15000 files) very
succesfull without any problems (migrated 60Gb, premigrated 7GB,
#migrated files 12000), I started HSM on a 'bigger' filesystem (300000 files).
This crashed our machine (SP2) three time in a row, one time after a
dsmreconcile and two times after migrating 4000 a 5000 files.
There appear to be an HSM bug (IX65897).

Question: has anybody ever had this problem and put this on
          this list or did I just missed it here?

(running ADSM V2.1.0.12 on a SP2 (AIX 4.1.4.0) using 3494 with 4 3590 units,
 backup/archive client's 2.1.0.6 on AIX 3.2, AIX 4.1.4, SunOs, Solaris,
 IRIX, Win95, WinNT, HSM client 2.1.0.6 on AIX 4.1.4.0)
