Hi Sherry,
It's the node that doesn't exist any longer.
Let's assume you have two nodes, node A and node B. Node A has been 
disassambled. Node B needs some data that was located on node A.
Go to the Node B machine, stop the scheduler (if running) and start the DSM 
-node=nodeA. This starts a ADSM session asif you are node A. Thus you can 
restore all of node A's files on the machine you are working on (node B)
