Naveed,

  I have experienced problems similar to yours on NT when 2 incremental
backup processes have been started by schedulers.  Specifically, the output
in the sched.log looks out of order and I get a report of 1 failed backup.
I doubt that this is what is happening on your machine, but you might watch
the number of sessions your server is running when you have this problem.
