We are using Platinum's AutoSys for all our ADSM backups quite
successfully. It's ability to alarm on non-zero return codes gives us
a handle on status monitoring. Scheduling based on time and/or
prerequisite jobs helps us to tie into the application schedules.

ADSM'ers,

In implementing an enterprise wide job management/job processing solution, does
it make sense to have a scheduling package kick off ADSM client services or use
the ADSM server/client to manage that piece of it?

We are evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of schedulers and trying to deter
mine if it makes sense. Any experiences?
