I have two questions:

1) When running a full backup of the database log (BACKUP DB DEV=STKDLT) the
data goes to one tape. Our tapes hold almost 40 Gigabytes.
Does anyone how to cause the data to be appended to the same tape after each
backup (FULL or INCREMENTAL) rather then storing on a new 40 gigabyte tape?

How can I set the retention period on the tape for each database log backup?

2) Initially when I do an incremental backup against a NODE in essence it is a
full backup. If I run incremental backups against the nodes for a months time -
I now want to run a full backup. Is this possible, does anyone know how to run
incremental/full backups after a months time?

Thanks,
