Hi Everybody,
                   I want to produce a general list of information about
saved objects which can then be analysed with all the usual Unix
facilities.  My particular requirement is to be able to understand the
amount of storage used due to the implemented policies.

For example, how much storage is being used to hold deleted files over a
year old?

The first attempt was to use 'query backup' using dsmc.  However, this
gives only backup time and not modify time.  Strangely, the gui gives
modify times and not backup time.

I thought that the api may be the answer, but this appears to be only
able to list objects backed up using the api.  Any attempt to list any
others results in the error :-

        ANS4245E Format unknown

If 'query backup' in dsmc is asked to query an object backed up with the
api, the same error is returned.

To summarise, I want to get all information about all objects even if I
have to combine sources.
