Item Subject: HELP! How to read another ADSM 3590 tapes from somewhere else
Are they exported nodes ? You would import them then...
If they are just storage pool volumes I would guess that you would
check them into the library as private and then run an audit volume
against them. The results will probably be odd since the nodes are
not on your current system... I'm not sure what measures exist inside
adsm to cover such cases (this is why there is import/export node...)
Good luck,
later

Subject: HELP! How to read another ADSM 3590 tapes from somewhere e

Hi all,
We have some ADSM 3590 tapes from others and would like to
read them. Provide that we know the names of the files on the tapes,
how do we read these files that are not registered in our ADSM database
yet. HELP.
Thanks. PC.
