Evidently the restoration doesn't take care of the syserr FIFO.  If it
doesn't have a FIFO you'll get a syserr process running forever.

# mknod /usr/lib/sysmon/syserr.FIFO
# chmod 600 /usr/lib/sysmon/syserr.FIFO
