Dan,
What is it that you're trying to accomplish that would require you to delete
all the volumes in the copy pool? What do you mean by 2 generations of
copypool on tape?

We have 3 copypools that we rotate between.  The first day we used set #1
and everything was copied.  The second day we used set #2 and everything was
copied.  The third we used set #3 and everything was copied.  The fourth day
we used set #1 and all backups since the first day were added to the tapes
in set #1.  We've been doing that ever since.

Dan, I asked this question about 3 days ago and was told (I believe by
IBM) that an explicit delete was the only way.  I find this tedious if
there are many tapes in the copypool.
