MVS ADSM hang during EXPIRE

Thank you very much Hans Beierle of EDS, Ruesselsheim, Germany. Your
suggestion to clean up the
Volume History file was the answer. This took care of our high CPU usage
and daily hang up after EXPIRE
on our MVS ADSM server. We reduced it down to 30 days worth for now from
7 months worth.
Apparently the size of this file has a lot to do with performance.
