Do you have an audio CD in the CD-ROM drive of the machine you are
backing up? Are there NFS mounted drives?
There is a known problem (APAR) regarding this.
I believe the workaround is to take out the audio CD or
unmount the NFS drive.
| Hello,
| I have run into a problem using Window/NT 4.0 Workstation and the ADSM
| CLIENT software V2.1.06 Fix IP20993.
| When I first installed all was working fine. However since Friday the
| BACKUP gui or the BACKUP command line programs won't start. I get a
| pop-up box saying that:
| AN APPLICATION ERROR HAS OCCURED AND AN APPLICATION ERROR LOG IS BEING
| GENERATED.
| DSM.exe EXCEPTION: DIVIDE BY ZERO (xxxxxxxxxx) ADDRESS: xxxxxxxxx
| Now I have the error log generated by DRWATSON if anyone wants to look
| at it.
| The only new stuff installed on the computer was CHAT TOOL and I tried
| using the ADSM SCHEDULAR SERVICE INSTALLATION without completeing the
| process.
| Any ideas?
| Thank You,
