You must use Novell provided utilities to upgrade 3.12 to 4.11.
ADSM will not do this. Use ADSM as a backup in case data is lost
while performing the in place upgrade. Trustee rights are associated
with object IDs in the NDS. Only the novell utilities switch
these. This is only my advice, someone with more Novell knowledge
may correct me. I would suggest that you upgrade, instead of new
install when installing the 4.11 operating system.
