This sounds like something I have seen with WindowsNT before. What
kind of network adapter is on the machine?

I know that the Intel Ethernet adapter has some problems when talking
to ADSM and WindowsNT. The symptom I've seen before was a complete
lock up of the NT machine.

The specific problem was a PCI Intel Ethernet adapter, it was replaced
with a 3COM EISA adapter and the problem went away.
