This is the first time I have to upgrade ADSM server software.

We are running
ADSM server 2.1.0.3 under AIX 4.1.4
with Atape 2.4.4.2
and  atldd 2.4.1.0

We have a 3494 with 3590 tapes (lscfg says: machine type and model 03590B1A).

We want to upgrade to ADSM server 2.1.0.12,
so I would like to know

1) is the upgrade of Atape to level 2.6.1.0 a prerequisite in our environment?
   (I got Atape 2.6.1.0 from index.storsys.ibm.com)
2) does Atape 2.6.1.0 work with atldd 2.4.1.0?
   If not, what version in atldd is recommended,
   and how can I get new versions of atldd?
