You can do a full backup with ADSM , you have to specify the MODE
parameter on the backup_copygroup to 'absolute'. The default is modified
for inc. backup.

I'm not sure about HSM but I thing it works just like inc. backup - it
backs up the files directly from the STG_POOL and doesn't recall it
back.
