Multiple copies of stgpools

Is it possible to have multiple copy pools of a primary storage pool?
How would ADSM handle restoring a volume/storage pool in the event of a
failure?
I currently have the following setup:
My primary backup pool goes to disc and then use a copy pool of type
DLT. However, depending on the rate of change of files, currently it
may take some time to fill 20-40GB of tape before moving them offsite.
As a result the tapes would be useless in the event of a fire in the
computer room. At the price of DLT tapes I am reluctant to only use them
once before moving them offsite.
An alternative solution I am thinking about is to buy another tape
system e.g. exabyte/dat and copy the primary disc pool to a copy pool
using this device and then remove the tapes on a daily basis.
However, in the event of a data integrity error in the primary disc pool
ADSM is supposed to retrieve it from the copy pool. If the copy pool
tapes are offsite this can be a problem until the tape is retrieved.
If, however, I could make a copy of the primary disc pool to 2 copy
pools, one to say exabyte which is offsite and one to DLT which is
online and available I would get the data back fairly quickly from the
DLT.
Comments/experiences please.
