Hi,
I have an AIX client on AIX 4.1.4. The ADSM client is version 2.1, mod
level 6. The server is an AIX 3.2.5 system with ADSM server 2.1, mod
level 11.
With this combination I get the following error, when I try to do an
incremental backup. Very often the error doesn't appear on retry.
An error window appears stating a "TCP/IP communications failure". In
the dsmerror.log file on the client there is the following info:
01/09/97 16:21:29 PrivIncrFileSpace: Received rc=106 from fioGetDirEntries:
/ /lost+found
01/09/97 16:21:31 TcpRead: Zero byte buffer read.
01/09/97 16:21:31 sessRecvVerb: Error -50 from call to 'readRtn'.
01/09/97 16:21:31 TCP/IP communications failure

What is the reason for this behaviour?
Best regards
Gerhard
