Hi Jane,

The four NTFS Access Control List security descriptors containing the
file permission information are backed up as structured data blocks on
the ADSM server.  This information is backed up for every NTFS file and
directory.

To omit files from being backed up, specify the file name pattern in the
include/exclude list of the ADSM options file.  ADSM does not provide
the means of excluding files from backup based on their attributes.
