Dave,
movebatchsize and movesizethreshold are ADSM server options...

MoveBatchsize specifies the number of files moved and 'batched' together
within the same server transaction. Default is 40, range is 1-256.

MoveSizeThresh specifies a threshold for the amount of data moved as a
batch within the same server transaction. When this threshold is
reached, no more files are added to the current batch and a new
transaction is started. The range is 1-500 MB... not sure what the
default is as the manual says one thing (500 MB default) and the sample
ADSM server options file says another (default = 1 MB).

I've found these options to help performance, particularly for
background processes (migration, reclamation, etc.) Word of warning...
there were some APARs open on some server related problems if these
values were set too high... these problems have been resolved in some of
the later ADSM V2 server maintenance.
