I have a user installing win32 on an nt workstation who is running
  nt 3.5.1 sp2 and is in the administrative group.

After the install when trying to start up the client the following error
  is put out:

    assertion faild:nfsmsgP->prev!=null,file ..\src\ansnls.c,line1819

I provided win32 v2r1 ptf level IP20863 to him for the install.
  Any help as to what the problem is would be appreciated.
