To increase the 'partition size' do a 'getinfo' (apple-i keys) on the adsm
backup program and increase the minimum and preferred ram sizes. Depending
on the size of a folder and/or the setting for 'slowincremental' (I
recommend OFF), the client needs enough ram for the code, buffers, and the
metadata sent from the server for the entire filespace. At the point of
failure, was it starting on a very large folder? Another possibility is a
memory leak. If you believe that is the case, please call IBM support.

I have installed '05' on a few machines and backup ran ok. On the other
hand, a full filespace restore failed -- I have an open incident with level
2 for it. I tested the same restore with a version 1 client (1.2.03 --
that is what most of my users are on; yes, I am having client distribution
problems too!), and the restore works.

I just installed the client V2.1.0.5 successfully, it backed up over 50%
of the filesystem then failed! I keep getting "ADSM is out of Memory
Please increase the partition size and retry". The error log shows
ANS6157E Unable to query server volume.

I'm using MacTcp 2.0.6.
I can even restore files it has backed up.

I am out of ideas any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks...
