I got a question from a potential customer of our adsm service regarding 
verification of data being backed up or restored.  We are using tcp/ip as our 
protocol, so tcp does some error checking.  But the customer pointed out that 
that does not necessarily guarantee that the data that the adsm server received 
is the same as the data stored on the client.  In traditional tape backup 
systems there is a verification option to check on the integrity of the backup 
or restore process.  Does adsm do any such verification, or does it just rely 
on the underlying network protocol?  Thanks.
