Error Log pruning

Has anyone had problems with errorlog pruning NOT occurring?  I thought
it happened at the same time the schedulelog pruning occurred (after
the backup completes).  I have the SCHEDLOGR set in the dsm.sys file
and the ERRORLOGR set in the dsm.opt file.  However I still have
entries in the errorlog file from June!
The clients are HP-UX level 9.0x and 10.0x.   Any suggestions?
