Our engineers worked closely with ADSM engineering on the
OpenVMS client.  The client was written with the blessing and
help of IBM, and we have a long term relationship bound up
in complex legal documents.

Please refer to IBM's ADSM diagram that shows all the current clients
from the intro to ADSM presentation.  You'll notice the
SSSI Archive Backup Client for OpenVMS(tm) at the bottom of the ring.
That is our company.

The OpenVMS file system is complex and radically different from
any of the many UNIX file systems.  Our engineering group is
comprised of ex-Digital engineers who engineered file system
products at Digital, such as the defrag, hsm, and layered backup
product.  This expertise was critical in getting a robust client
out quickly for the OpenVMS file system.
