I was working with a customer this past week, and they were doing large
I was working with a customer this past week, and they were doing large
restores of a NetWare Server as a throughput test.  In short, they were
restore whole volumes at a time, and the typical restore time was measured in
hours.  While they were satisfied with the throughput overall, they wondered
if there was a way to automate the command entry, so that they could leave the
(exciting) console and not have to worry about being there when one restore
completed, so that they might start the next one.  My first thought was a
macro, but they only are available for Admin clients.  Then we thought about a
NetWare .NCF file, but the problem here was that ADSM has a prompt at the end
of each command (press any key to continue) that stops the process anyway.

Has anyone else come across a way to avoid the delay, and automate the command
entry process on NetWare?
