From the information you provided in your note, I would guess that the OS/2
machine must be running HPFS File Systems; in that situation you cannot
restore to a Windows 3.1 client. As a rule, clients only understand the file
systems that are native to them, thus a Win 3.1 system knows FAT only. On the
other hand, an OS/2 system knows FAT and HPFS, so can see and restore Win 3.1
systems. I have not seen what happens on a Win95 32 bit client with the
enhanced FAT and NTFS support.

WE HAVE A WINDOWS CLIENT, WHO WANTS TO BE ABLE TO LOOK AT THE DATA BELONGING
TO
AN OS/2 CLIENT.
WHEN YOU GO INTO A WINDOWS SESSION AND CHANGE THE NODE TO THE OS/2 CLIENT, NO
DRIVES ARE LISTED FOR THE RETRIEVE/RESTORE.
EVEN IF CHANGE THE NODE IN THE DSM.OPT FILE AND GO INTO THE WINDOWS CLIENT , I
CANNOT SEE THE DRIVES BELONGING TO THE OS/2 CLIENT.
CAN A WINDOWS CLIENT RETRIEVE/RESTORE THE DATA BELONGING TO AN OS/2 CLIENT??
