Pete,
The install file is in a compressed tar format - after you uncompress
and untar it, you'll need to run the customize scripts that are created
in the /system/IBMADSM-xxxx directores to create the necessary links,
etc.. We've been using the ADSM HPUX 9.x client on some 10.01 systems
since last fall... everything appeared to be working fine but.... We did
a disaster recovery test yesterday (mainframe and midrange) and ran into
some problems trying to restore the /var directory on an HPUX 10.01
system - will be working on recreating the problem in a 9.04 and 10.01
environment on our test server. Since 10.01 isn't officially supported,
I want to see if the same thing happens on a 9.04 system so I can pursue
it with ADSM support.
