As an additional question on the 2GB file size limit, one of my
co-workers has pointed out that since we will be using the
ADSM/Informix backup client when it is available we need to know if
this limit will be inherited by that product and if so how; that is
will there be a limit on the size of a table, or perhaps on a
database?  Will there be any difference in backing up a database that
exists on a raw partition as opposed to one that exist on a cooked
file system?
