The above product provides for a Posix compliant filesystem on MVS.
These files are implemented on MVS using linear datasets.  ADSM with its
OpenEdition MVS client will backup the separate files within a linear
dataset (similar to doing a separate PDS within an MVS dataset) just like
it does for other Unix clients.

The OE MVS client runs on TCP/IP, and will backup to our V2 servers, of
which AIX and MVS are available today.

So yes, you can backup OE MVS files on MVS to AIX today.
