We've been using SQL-Backtrack (for Sybase on HPUX) for over a year now and
are satisfied with how it works... don't know about the T1, although
databases tend to compress well so that should cut down on the amount of
data you're sending.

We are looking for a program product to bkup several Sybase database on 8
AIX
severs to MVS and then go to the STK SILO. The remote AIX servers are
connected using T1. It seems ADSM should do the job. The Sybase databases
are 4 gb each. One thing we are not sure is: is a T1 connection
sufficient ? The other program product we are looking at is the
Harbor/BR.

Any comment is much appreciated. Thank you.
