Knowing the tcp/ip address of adsm clients is indeed helpful.
As a stopgap solution, we have adopted a node naming convention
that includes the ip address. We have class B networks here and
use 7 bits of the host portion for the subnet mask. We map
each of our class B network #s to a letter and then use the subnet
# and the host portion of the ip address to come up with a
7 character name.
