I recently set up a centrally scheduled, selective backup on an ADSM/MVS
server for a SOLARIS client.  I specified the files to be backed up in the
OBJECTS section of the SCHEDULE.  The user had these files in his INCLUDE
list.  I asked him to take these out because I didn't want to back them up in
the general incremental backup.  When he took them out, the backup EVENT
shows a status of MISSED on the administrative client for each selective
backup.  I received no error messages in the activity log.  Any ideas on how
a specific backup (specified in the OBJECTS list of the schedule) works with
the INCLUDE/EXCLUDE file on the client?--don_sivley AT qmailgw.esy DOT com
